A new prose contest was suggested by another Elftowner and decided was to start it, [shotokan_gal] simply volunteered. It is rather unfair to then take it out on her when she is just doing her job. If you want to run the next prose contest then I already stated before you can simply say so. However the Council/Assembly always has to be involved as [Poindextra] requested it to be an official contest. Official means that the contest is organised or at least controlled by Council/Assembly-members.

2006-01-11 [Sunrose]: Last time I stayed on the sidelines and it was pretty clear this approach worked out rather badly as the results took 3 months to be announced, despite several requests from me to get the results. So we need judges who are able to work a bit faster and we managed to find volunteers. I'd personally think that all of you who really wanted to have a prose contest, would be extremely happy that we organised a new one for people to enter. The intention of the new prose contest was not to 'steal' anything, but to continue the work. Official contests on Elftown are almost never run by the same people every time. It is run by whomever capable member is willing to do it with approval from officials.
